  • Wally and Mary Holmgren (Frenchglen, Oregon)

    The Holmgrens found a farm that would supply enough feed for their organic dairy, as well as others in the area. As long-time customers, Wally and Mary contacted Craft3 for a loan. Craft3 provided financing to purchase the 2,200 acre alfalfa farm located in Frenchglen, Oregon.

  • Craft3’s Home Energy Efficiency Loan through CEWO

    Through CEWO, Craft3’s Home Energy Efficiency Loan is available to homeowners in Oregon’s Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Multnomah, Tillamook and Washington Counties. Since 2009, Craft3 has provided over $27.6 million in loans to more than 2,100 homeowners.

  • Northwest Natural Resource Group (Seattle, Washington)

    In 2002, Craft3 provided NNRG with a loan to promote its sustainable wood products in Washington. When NNRG realized they needed to create a sustainable business model that would explain the real benefits of conservation forestry, it contacted Craft3 for assistance. Craft3 worked as a consultant with NNRG to create a framework and business strategy that would maximize the organization’s mission impacts.

  • Agri-Plas (Brooks, Oregon)

    Agri-Plas may be the only US company specializing in recycling and reprocessing of post consumer agricultural plastics. Craft3 provided Agri-Plas with loans for equipment purchase, working capital and to refinance existing high interest credit.

  • Jim and Bettina Hoesel (Sequim, Washington)

  • Jefferson Land Trust (Chimacum, Washington)

    Jefferson Land Trust (JLT) identified B.G. Brown Trust property as critical to the preservation of farmland and the Chimacum Creek watershed. With a loan from Craft3, JLT purchased 23 acres of the property.

  • Willapa Demonstration Land Bank (Long Beach, Washington)

    Craft3 invested in Joe McHugh’s idea to create value by restoring the Willapa Bay shoreline to its original high salt marsh conditions. This early demonstration in wetland mitigation banking has restored 65 acres of Willapa Bay’s original shoreline, and is providing salmon habitat, flood holding capacity, and hydrological recharge as ecological services.

  • Khan Machine Tools (Seattle, Washington)

    When Mohammad Khan needed to replace two old compressors, he contacted Craft3 for an Energy Efficiency Loan for Small Business. Craft3’s loan allowed Khan Machine Tools to replace two old compressors with a quiet, energy efficient model. The new compressor saves Mohammad 13,941 KwH in energy costs annually.

  • Tim Aguero & Luce Cousineau (Seattle, Washington)

    Tim and Luce qualified for incentives, discounts, and rebates totaling almost $5,000. Craft3 provided a low-interest loan for the balance. The Aguero’s reduced their energy consumption by 59% and are expected to reduce their heating costs by over $1,300 per year.

    When SweetSpring Salmon needed to expand its facility in order to meet the demands of retail grocers, they came to Craft3. Craft3 utilized the federal New Markets Tax Credit program to invest $2 million in SweetSpring Salmon. Capital for this investment was provided by Wells Fargo, Sterling Savings Bank and Bank of Astoria.
