Sue Taoka retired in 2019 as Executive Vice President at Craft3, and has since transitioned to a role on the board.
With a dynamic career spanning 24 years in Seattle's International District, Sue held pivotal positions including Executive Director of the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority and Interim Community Development Association. She also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Mayor Norm Rice. A founding member of the National Coalition of Asian Pacific American Community Development, Sue also served on boards including the Seattle Investment Fund, Crescent Collaborative (formerly Yesler Community Collaborative), and the Friends of Little Saigon. Her leadership extends to the Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council and the Federal Reserve Board's Community Advisory Council.
Sue enjoys gardening, tai chi, knitting, hiking, and traveling with her husband Dicky Mar. She is proud mother to Emiko and Isamu.
