Craft3 will close from December 24th through January 1st to allow our team time to rest and recharge. Read more about why on our blog.
Carl leads a nimble team that oversees and builds the Craft3 brand, develops and executes marketing and sales strategy in partnership with leaders across the company, and helps us find and reach new customers - whether they’re investors, potential borrowers, or partners. He strives to build a strong, resilient brand and ensure that Craft3 is known for empathy, innovation, and putting the customer first.
Carl believes that every person, regardless of their background, should have access to economic opportunity. Knowing that Craft3 aims to extend opportunity was a big part of what led Carl to first consult and then accept a full-time position. Previously, he worked for six years for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell in Washington, D.C., in increasingly senior roles focused on transportation, economic development and small business policy.
Carl joined Craft3 in 2015 and earned his MBA from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at University of Washington in 2019. He is a scientist in the kitchen, always testing new ingredients and techniques, and has built a significant cache of travel and restaurant recommendations which he freely shares with staff. As a proud urbanist, Carl wants all Seattleites to have access to “walkable, vibrant, safe, and affordable 15-minute neighborhoods where residents can create community and enjoy their everyday needs without the need for a car.” Carl started learning the banjo during the pandemic and is maintaining an uneasy truce with Fiddle the raccoon, who is fond of destroying his lawn.
