Mark focuses on supporting his team in planning and executing projects, managing priorities and workflows, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. “In this new role, I am learning how to listen better, ask more thoughtful questions, and empower others rather than leap to solve problems,” Mark reflects. “I find it both challenging and rewarding—and it ultimately makes my work more sustainable and our team stronger.”
Mark joined Craft3 in 2021 as a Content and Creative Strategist, where his PhD in Rhetoric and passion for communicating complex topics, like historical inequities, shined. He has contributed to key projects, including the Definitive Guide to Getting Loan Ready and the furnishing and layout of the Portland office to make it a collaborative (and plant-filled) destination.
Outside of work, Mark’s curiosity has led him to explore new hobbies, such as urban sketching. He also strives to stay active enough to keep up with his long-distance running children, further his Spanish skills, and travel to remote areas of the Pacific Northwest.
