As Craft3’s Indian Country Strategist, Phoebe Thums builds relationships with Native Communities throughout Oregon and Washington, raising the visibility of Craft3 products and services in Indian Country, seeking opportunities for new mission-based business and Tribal entity loans, and finding and supporting the development of large projects.
Both Phoebe and Craft3 know that deploying capital alone is not enough. They also focus on relationships and voice. As a member of the Hopi Tribe and a social justice champion, Phoebe is deeply committed to breaking down systems of oppression to build healthy, strong, and resilient communities.
Phoebe joined Craft3 in 2024. Previously, she specialized in relationship banking with nonprofits and led social impact efforts at a regional bank. Her past and present community leadership includes serving on the Board of Directors at Project Lemonade, Friends of Trees, Nonprofit Network of SW Washington, and Dress for Success Oregon. She also volunteers with TASTE for Equity and as a mentor for Survival Is Not Enough.
Phoebe’s personal interests include sustainable fashion, reading, traveling, checking out new restaurants, and working out. She also loves spending time with her partner and cat and chasing after her one-year-old niece.
