New to Craft3 but not new to social impact lending, Reed’s enthusiasm is contagious. “I love, love, working directly with business owners and nonprofit leaders to overcome challenges together. Applying for and taking on debt can be complicated, so my goal is to make the process as easy as possible. At the end of the day, I'm excited about the role we can play in helping someone's dream become a reality.”
Reed previously managed deployment of debt capital to entrepreneurs and nonprofits with RSF Social Finance as a Capital Deployment Manager, but Craft3 has been on his radar for a while. “I've known Craft3 for many years and prior to joining the team was able to partner on a project. It was great experience and spoke to my personal interests in community wealth building. I said, ‘One day I want to work there!’ I'm so grateful to join this team!”
Reed joined Craft3 in 2022, and currently serves on the Board of a local solar development cooperative. He’s held previous Board roles with arts education-focused nonprofits, and believes the arts are a wonderful way for all ages to experience culture and creativity in community with others.
