Craft3 will close from December 24th through January 1st to allow our team time to rest and recharge. Read more about why on our blog.
Lee Winslett joined the Board in 2008, bringing expertise in finance, banking, lending, management, and fund and community development. Lee is Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He explains that, “I'm drawn to Craft3 in the same way that I connect with astronauts and space travel. Craft3 is a portal to a better world that we all envision, a platform to unlock human potential and to strengthen our communities.”
Lee sees his role on the Board as alternating “between cheerleader, sounding board, resource partner, and occasional instigator and provocateur to push the organization to do more, and then to do even more.”
Lee is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Wells Fargo’s New Markets Tax Credit Program. His team has made debt and equity investments in urban and rural low-income communities, through transactions totaling almost a billion dollars in some of the nation’s least prosperous economies. Prior to his current role, Lee held a variety of positions in commercial and real estate lending. Lee is actively involved in civic affairs, having served as a board member on several housing and economic development related nonprofits, and as an Advisory Board member for several private equity investment funds including Pacific Community Ventures and Shepherd Ventures. Lee received his BA in business and economics from the University of California Los Angeles.
