Craft3 will close from December 24th through January 1st to allow our team time to rest and recharge. Read more about why on our blog.
Issei oversees commercial loan transactions from loan documentation to closing, helping borrowers with one of their biggest financial decisions. His prior experience in the field of real estate and law helps him traverse all types of loans with an analytical and collaborative approach. Issei feels a strong connection to Craft3’s mission.
“The world of finance has always been complex and accessible to only a select few. I am proud to work with an organization that seeks to expand access and empower individuals and communities.”
In addition to his main roles at Craft3, Issei sits on Craft3’s employee-led Anti-Racism Committee (ARC). The ARC helps promote spaces of belonging and inclusion. ARC commits to anti-racism growth and learning while advocating for equitable policies externally and internally for a better work culture and connection to the community.
Issei earned his BA from University of California, Irvine, and his JD from University of Oregon School of Law. He is an active volunteer in the community and participates on the CDC Advisory Committee of the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO). He also serves on the Board of 1,000 Friends of Oregon and is actively working to advance and expand options in affordable housing and community development.
Joining Craft3 in 2019, Issei lives in Portland with his wife, Ariel, and baby boy, Ari. Being new parents takes up much of their free time, but he tries to find time for surfing and tennis/pickleball.
