In his role on the Underwriting team, Mon leverages his analytical and credit skills to structure financing deals for emerging businesses. He enjoys working with young companies who often get turned down by banks because their business model doesn’t fit neatly inside a prescribed box. In addition to supporting entrepreneurs, Mon is often called upon to work on complex transactions such as New Market Tax Credit deals and to develop innovative solutions such as Sharia complaint financing.
Mon is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in commercial and investment banking, as well as the insurance industry. He connects with Craft3’s mission. “I feel highly rewarded when I can play a role in helping minority and woman business owners build their businesses, increase their net worth, provide for their families and contribute to their local economies.”
Mon joined Craft3 in 2016. He earned his BA in Economics from Harvard University and MBA from the University of Chicago. Mon loves food and enjoys cuisines from all corners of the world.
